Hari ini saya menjalani H+10. Kebetulan menemukan artikel yang sangat indah. Membacanya membuat saya jadi terharu Artikel aslinya saya dapatkan dari sini. Saya pertama kali bertemu dengan Charles dan Linda Graham saat pasangan asal Amerika itu ikut serta dalam rombongan tur ke Eropa Barat yang saya pimpin, kira-kira 12 tahun yang lalu. Ketika itu mereka mengadakan perjalanan dalam rangka memperingati ulangtahun emas perkawinan mereka. Saya banyak berkomunikasi dengan mereka sebab mereka duduk di baris pertama pada bus yang kami kendarai sepanjang perjalanan, tepat di belakang bangku tempat duduk saya.

Girlfriend 6.0 vs Wife 1.0

Tiba-tiba teringat sebuah humor lama. Mungkin Anda sudah pernah membacanya. Saya mencoba mencarinya kembali dan menemukannya di sini. Ada juga yang sudah pernah mem-postingnya di WordPress. Sekadar pengingat saja bagi diri sendiri. Kalau Anda belum pernah baca, silakan menikmati.

Last year a friend of mine upgraded from GirlFriend 6.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that it’s a memory hog leaving very little system resources available for other applications. He is now noticing that Wife 1.0 is also spawning Child Processes which are further consuming valuable resources. No mention of this particular phenomena was included in the product brochure or the documentation, though other users have informed him that this is to be expected due to the nature of the application.
